REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording composition with which forming and erasing of an image with good contrast is possible and the image can be stably held with the lapse of time under an environment of everyday life and a reversible thermal recording material using it. SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording material is characterized by comprising an electron donating dye precursor being ordinarily colorless or light-colored and expressed by general formula (1) and an electron accepting compound generating a reversible change in color tone to the dye precursor and expressed by general formula (2).
