PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant which contains as an active ingredient a substance having an anti-oxidizing action and found in natural products, and to provide a skin care preparation, drink and food which contains the antioxidant. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation, drink and food each is characterized by containing an extract obtained from a plant belonging to the genus Sauropus as an active anti-oxidizing ingredient.
