PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales counter inventory management system which can clarify the position and the flow of commodities within a shop, and realize the relationship between a material and a worked article even the commodities are worked articles, by managing the inventory of the commodities at a sales counter. SOLUTION: A tag reader 1 to read the information written in RFID tags 3 and 5 as radio tags and an antenna gate 2 are installed at an entrance between a back yard side of a supermarket and the sale counter (shop) side, the RFID tag 3 is attached to a basket cart 4, and the commodity information on a commodity 8 placed in the basket cart 4 is written therein. The RFID tag 5 is attached to the worked article 7 placed in a cart 6 exclusive for the worked articles to carry the worked articles together with a bar code label 9. The commodity information passed through the antenna gate 2 and read by the tag reader 1 is radio-transmitted to a shop server 10, and the inventory management in the shop is performed. |
