MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THREE DIMENSIONAL PHOTONIC CRYSTAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a three dimensional photonic crystal effectively which has a periodic structure comprised of plurality of dielectric materials (photonic material) whose refractive indexes are sufficiently different from each other. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of three dimensional photonic crystal on a base material include a process where a first two-dimensional photonic crystal layer is formed by conducting pattern printing a first photonic material, and a second photonic material which has a lower refractive index than that of the first photonic material, so that they are disposed alternately; and a process where a second two-dimensional photonic crystal layer is laminated by conducting pattern printing so that the first photonic material and the second photonic material are disposed alternately on the first two-dimensional photonic crystal layer.
