PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for woody materials, having good adhesion to plastics and high weatherability. SOLUTION: This resin composition essentially comprises an acrylic resin and/or a urethane resin and an ultraviolet-absorbing group-bearing ultraviolet- absorbing resin, which is an ultraviolet-absorbing urethane resin obtained by reaction between a polyester polyol, a compound containing ionic and/or nonionic surface-active group(s), an organic polyisocyanate and, as necessary, an additional polyol.
