PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder which can shorten a design study of a conveying roller driving speed in a paper feeding unit for feeding a paper sheet to a printer and timing of driving, and which can be applied to serialized printer with a different speed in a short-time design study. SOLUTION: This paper feeder is composed so that the paper conveying distance from, paper feeding rollers for separately feeding paper sheets stacked in the paper feeding units vertically stacked in two stages, to a paper feeding timing roller for conveying the paper sheet to a printer, becomes almost the same is the upper and lower conveying lines.
