The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for processing a parking registration and parking information inquiry. The method for processing a parking registration in accordance with the present invention comprises the steps of receiving parking registration information including at least one selected from the group of a parking division identifier, a vehicle identifier and a parking time from a user terminal, determining whether the vehicle can be parked or not in the parking division in correspondence with the parking division identifier at the parking time, by retrieving at least one parking information stored in advanced in a database coupled with a parking information server using the received parking registration information, and transmitting a parking allowance message to the user terminal, when the vehicle can be parked.
