PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire effectively suppressing creeping up of a steel belt layer end portion, having excellent tread separation resistance, and improving high-speed durability. SOLUTION: In a pneumatic radial tire having four steel belt layers, a belt reinforcing layer wherein a twisting coefficientαindicated in a below-mentioned equation (2) is not less than 1900, and wherein polyolefin ketone fiber cord indicated in a below-mentioned equation (1) is actually wound at an angle of 0 degree in the tire circumferential direction, is provided in the tire width direction outer side of the most outer side of the steel belt layers. -(-CH2 -CH2 - CO)n -(R-CO)m - (1) (1.05>=(n+m)/n>=1.00, R expresses alkylene group of not less than 3C) andα=N×(D/1.111)<1/2> (2) (N expresses the number of twisting of cord (/10 cm), and D expresses total indication decitex).
