PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vapor included in exhaust gases from being condensed at the time of starting and upon partial load operation in an absorption refrigerating machine having a mechanism for collecting heat from the exhaust gases. SOLUTION: This absorption refrigerating machine comprises first and second heat collectors 23 and 24, an adsorbent side route pipe 11B allowing dilute absorbent from a low temperature heat exchanger 9 to flow while bypassing a second + heat collector 24, a flow control valve 25 installed in the adsorbent side route pipe 11B, and a controller 27 for controlling the opening of the flow control valve 25 so that a temperature sensor 26 can continuously detect a specified temperature (for example, 100 deg.C) higher than the dew point temperature of the exhaust gases.
