PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the intensity distribution in a lighting device in which a parallelized light source is used. SOLUTION: A collimate lens 2 is arranged for the parallelized light source 1, light beams collimated with the lens are composited with a first lens L1. Further, the light beams are spatially divided by arranging a group of lens arrays ML1 and ML2, superimposed by using a second lens group L2, and projected on a face to be illuminated via a third lens (or lens group), thus a uniformized light intensity distribution is obtained.
