PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve energy saving and noise reduction of the air conditioner by providing an outdoor machine of the air conditioner having a structure in which an axial-flow fan is hardly affected by an internal structure such as an electrical box and the like and at the same time velocity pressure caused by a suction air stream from the axial fan is reduced. SOLUTION: The outdoor machine of the air conditioner having at least one heat exchanger at one side surface and an axial-flow fan at the upper surface within a unit, comprises an equipment and the like provided with a refrigeration cycle such as a compressor, an accumulator and a piping and an electrical box wherein an electronic control circuit and the like is stored inside the unit. The axial-flow fan is arranged in the manner that the bottom end of the fan is above the upper end of the heat exchanger, and the outer circumference part of the fan overlaps with the upper end of the heat exchanger. |
