PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a polycarbonate resin molding compound by reducing the frequency of equipment maintenance by suppressing the corrosion of the surface of the screw or cylinder of an extruder when a particulate polycarbonate resin is melted, kneaded and extruded and reducing fluctuations of the discharge of the polycarbonate resin at the time of extrusion and to also provide a method for achieving the reduction of foreign matter, the enhancement of a hue and the reduction of chlorine content to enhance the quality of the polycarbonate resin molding compound. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the polycarbonate resin molding compound by supplying the particulate polycarbonate resin from a raw material supply part and melting, kneading and extruding the same, a twin-screw extruder having an air discharge mechanism on the upstream side of a melting and kneading part and having at least one vent port between the melting and kneading part and a resin discharge part is used to pelletize the polycarbonate resin. |
