PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll screen device which is prevented from being a hindrance to aeration, ventilation and a view, because a window opening can be opened, and can add variety to an appearance. SOLUTION: A winding shaft 2, which is arranged on one side of the window opening 1, is provided with a turning force imparting means for imparting a turning force. One side 31 of a screen 3 is connected to the winding shaft 2; and the other side of the screen 3 is connected to a screen pull-out rod part 43 which is freely movable in the directions of the opening or closing of the window opening 1. One side of a foldable pleated screen 5 is connected to the rod part 43; and the other side of the pleated screen 5 is connected to a pleat pull-out rod part 64 which is independent of the rod part 43 and freely movable in the directions of the opening or closing of the window opening 1.
