The clamping device has a spindle channel (7) in the working spindle (8), in which there is a conical recess (11) for the tapered part (3) of the tool. Clamping claws (6) can be moved between e release position and a gripping position connected to the pull-in bolt of the tapered part. An inwardly pre-stressed spring element (17) is fitted in the spindle channel as a locking element for the tapered part.
