This description relates to a thenno-protection device developed in particular for water boilers and, if necessary, incorporated into a single body (13) together with a temperature regulation device equipped with contacts ( 4) providing for the making/breaking of the power supply to the heating elements, a temperature-sensing element (1, 2) that measures the temperature of the fluid to be checked, tripping devices (7, 10, 9) that must be capable of opening said contacts (4) immediatelyand irreversibly by means of kinematical relay devices (5.3, 5, 5.1, 4.1) and regulation means (6) to set the tripping temperature. The invention consists in providing further spring-nut-operated devices (8) capable of opening said contacts (4) irreversibly even in the case of the failure of said temperature-sensing element (1, 2) and regardless of the temperature of the fluid to be checked. Two variants of said tripping means (7,10,9) and spring-nut-operated means(8) are proposed.
