摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently converting into amide compound, an inert catalytic species composed of a dehydrated dimer of the amide compound and sulfonic acid in a reaction mixture after a catalytic liquid-phase Beckmann rearrangement reaction. SOLUTION: The method produces the amide compound through the Beckmann rearrangement of oxime compound in a liquid phase containing a catalyst containing an acid component selected from at least an acid anhydride and a catalyst prepared from an N,N-bisubstituted amide compound. The resultant mixture containing the inert catalytic seed composed of the dehydrated dimer of the generated amide compound and an acid derived from the acid component is treated with a proton compound of >=0.1 and <=1,000 mol, based on the dehydrated dimer of the reaction mixture.
