<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unconscious radiation exposure of a worker caused by inserting erroneously a part of a human body within a flexible radiation protection wall provided with to a carrying-in port or a carrying-out port, when a specimen is supplied or taken out to/from a radiation inspection device. SOLUTION: An inlet side sensor S1 and an outlet side sensor S2 constituted respectively by infrared sensors are provided as human body detecting means in an inlet shield 3 and an outlet shield 6 of the flexible radiation protection walls. A detection circuit 10, a switch T and an alarm unit 11 are provided as a safety means, so as to break a commercial electric power source E to an X-ray tube power source XP and to alert by the alarm unit 11, when outputs of the inlet side sensor S1 or the outlet side sensor S2 exceed a threshold value. The unconscious radiation exposure is thereby prevented when the human body is intruded within the flexible radiation protection wall.</p> |
