PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a complicated dish having many steps can not be cooked easily only with cooking appliances and without referring to a cookbook and using a cooking timer. SOLUTION: A cooking step managing means 4, which manages cooking steps, selects information corresponding to each step of a cooked dish from among moving image information, static image information, character information and sound information stored in a cooking information recording medium 3, and displays it on a displaying means 5 and outputs it from a sound outputting means 7, and in a step requiring heating, effects optimal heating of a cooking means 1, to thereby support cooking work.
