SOLUTION: The navigation system comprises a following road searching processing means 97 for searching a following road, a following road decision processing means 98 for deciding whether the searched route and the following road merge into each other, a notifying processing means 99 for notifying a driver of guidance information when the searched route and the following road merge into each other. When the searched route and the following road merge into each other, guidance information is notified, so the driver can easily move the vehicle to the searched route by making the vehicle follow the road without referring to an atlas. |
