PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nondirectional forklift capable of selecting one of reverse steering and positive steering in a parallel movement mode and a lateral movement mode. SOLUTION: If a command switch is not operated when the parallel movement mode is selected by a mode change-over operation part, a solenoid valve is not driven, whereby a reverse rotation mechanism is interposed between the rotating shaft of a handwheel 13 and a transmission mechanism and the rotation of the handwheel 13 is reversed and transmitted to a driving wheel 14 to put the rotative direction of the handwheel 13 and the moving direction of a body into opposite reverse steering conditions. On the other hand, when the command switch is operated, the solenoid valve is driven, whereby a positive rotation mechanism is interposed between the rotating shaft of the handwheel 13 and the transmission mechanism and the rotative direction of the handwheel 13 is the same as the turning direction of the driving wheel 14 to put the rotative direction of the handwheel 13 and the moving direction of the body into the same positive steering condition. |
