PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock in which a locking-unlocking key is difficult to conduct a duplication and a wrong unlocking operation is impossible. SOLUTION: The two groups of tumbler groups 6 in which pairs of tumbler pins 5 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of a plug 2 are arrayed to the plug 2 so that the tumbler pins 5 belonging to the different groups are arranged alternately in the longitudinal direction of the plug 2. The tumbler groups 6 and 6 of the two groups are disposed in linear symmetry to a center line in the cross direction of a key inserting groove 8. One tumbler row in either one tumbler group 6 is arranged at a place where the crossed angleθof a tumbler group 11 in the other tumbler group 6 is divided, and the key inserting group 8 is provided with V-shaped projecting sections 10 projecting on the narrow width surface 9 side of the locking-unlocking key 3.
