PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated material which can be baked at a temperature lower than the melting point of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and can inexpensively treat a metal plate excellent in slidability, etc., with the slidability improved, by a usual pre-coated steel plate continuous coating facility and a chute for an automatic vending machine having excellent slidability especially in a high temperature environment. SOLUTION: The coated material is obtained by forming a coating film on the surface of a material to be treated by a primer containing 95-60 mass % of a matrix resin whose film forming temperature is lower than the melting point of PTFE and PTFE powder 2-15μm in average particle size as main components, applying a top coat containing 90-45 mass % of a matrix resin whose film forming temperature is lower than the melting point of PTFE, 5-40 mass % of unmelted PTFE powder 2-40μm in average particle size, and 5-15 mass % of metal flakes 10-40μm in average particle size on the coating film, and baking at a temperature lower than the melting point of PTFE and higher than the film forming temperature of the matrix resin. The coated material can appropriately used as the chute for the automatic vending machine having high slidability and abrasion resistance even in a high temperature environment.
