PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact mold opening device by reducing the number of large cylinders for high loading in a mold opening device for die-casting equipment. SOLUTION: The mold opening device 50 for the die-casting equipment is provided with a high-pressure cylinder 51 performing initial movement for mold opening and a low-pressure cylinder 59 taking over mold opening movement of the high-pressure cylinder 51 and continuing with mold opening. The high- pressure cylinder 51 is structurally made to extrude a product W, which is in a fixed type Da, through a product extruding plate 62 and a product knockout pin 61, after a movable type Db has been pushed through a pressure plate 53, a pressure pin 52 and a knockout pin 54 and initial movement for mold opening has been performed.
