<p>Maltitol crystals containing crystals of a saccaride except maltitol, wherein particles having a particle size of 20 to 50 meshes obtained by pulverization and classification thereof have a loose apparent specific gravity greater than 0.750 g/cc and not greater than 0.850 g/cc. The above maltitol crystals have good solubility and little hydroscopicity, is small in the difference between a tamped apparent specific gravity and a loose apparent specific gravity, and exhibit good fluidity. Further, having a relatively great apparent specific gravity, they are less susceptible to inconvenience due to great bulkiness when stored or transported.</p> |
