<p>The invention concerns a device for driving at least an ultrasonic piezoelectric actuator, electronically monitored from a control calculator and a direct current voltage source. The invention is characterized in that it comprises a direct/alternating current voltage converter-booster powered by the direct current voltage source (B), consisting of a bridge or push-pull type connection, whereof the high voltage output is connected to an oscillating circuit consisting of the actuator (Ii) and a resonant inductance (L), said converter consisting of connection with at least a transformer having a primary winding connected to the voltage source (B) by at least a controllable switch and a single secondary winding delivering a high-voltage and high-frequency alternating signal energizing the piezoelectric actuator. The invention also concerns a method for using the device. The invention is applicable to ultrasonic piezoelectric injectors for fuel injection in a motor vehicle heat engine.</p> |
