<p>The inventive radio communication method for a wireless local network and a transceiving device relate to wireless local networks (WLAN) comprising the multitude of transceiving devices of users (14, 15, 16...N). Said method consists in simultaneously scanning the transceiving devices during the reception mode thereof by an aerial beam oriented in different directions and transmitting an omnidirectional signal in the form of a calibration signal and a data package by one of the transceiving devices which is in transmission mode, identifying the signal by the transceiving devices which are in reception mode and in orienting the aerial beams thereof towards the source of the signal. The identification of the received signal and the orientation of the aerial beams are carried out during the reception of the calibration signal. The inventive method makes it possible to increase the reach or the range of coverage for WLAN users, reduce communication time and improve the quality and reliability of communication. The inventive transceiving device comprises at least one variable beam antenna (3) switched with the aid of a unit (4), a transmit/receive switch (5), a receiver (8), a transmitter (10) and a controller (11). Said device is also provided with a signal identifier (13).</p> |
