<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a sufficient amount of air to an effective portion of a tank in a simplified water closet type toilet in which the drain water from the toilet is purified, circulated and reused, but the size of the tank has to be increased for treating a large amount of drain water and thus regions insufficiently supplied with air are increased when decomposing organic matters by aeration in which air is blown into drain water and also when decomposing non-decomposed organic matters by aerobic microorganism stuck on the surface of lumber through a gas-permeable tank filled with wood chips; in this case, fermentation by anaerobic microorganism tends to occur easily and the decomposition of the organic matters by the aerobic microorganism is easily disturbed conventionally. SOLUTION: The tank filled with wood chips is made of a construction having double wall of an outer peripheral wall and an inner peripheral wall; many small holes are formed in respective wall, and a space not filled with the chips is formed at a central portion of the tank. The shape of the outer peripheral wall of the tank is made to cylindrical or polygonal cylindrical shape, the inner peripheral wall is located at the bottom portion or higher than the bottom; sufficient air is supplied to the filled chips from top surface, outer peripheral surface and central potion; and drain water is introduced to the chip tank from a plurality of nozzles located above and purification is performed therein.</p> |
