PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of extinguishing mold in a more appropriate state by operating a mold extinguishing means in a state where a degree against mold growing situation is a certain value or higher and it is determined to be allowed in operation. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 has an air conditioning part 20 and a control part 40. The air conditioning part 20 performs a mold extinguishing operation for extinguishing the growing mold. The control part 40 has a mold growth determining part 41 and a mold extinguishment determining part 42. The mold growth determining part 41 determines whether or not the mold growing degree is the certain value or higher. When the mold growing degree is determined to be the certain value or higher, the mold extinguishment determining part 42 determines whether or not the mold extinguishing is operated. When the mold extinguishing operation is determined, the air conditioning part 20 performs the mold extinguishing operation.
