PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spoke cover device capable of facilitating attaching/ detaching to/from a spoke and corresponding to variation in a space between a spoke cover and the spoke by doing away with the trouble of uniformly and stably attaching a spoke cover in a state having little warp in a conventional self-operating wheel chair wherein the spoke cover is attached by fastening and fixing a rigid washer contacted with the spoke with a bolt and a nut at a generally half position in a radial direction of the spoke cover so as to prevent hands and fingers from being injured by contacting with the spoke. SOLUTION: This wheel spoke cover device for a wheel chair is composed of a synthetic resin clip having a locking hook elastically locking from right and left sides to a spoke from a flange locking to an outer surface of a spoke cover through plural installing holes formed on a surrounding portion of the spoke cover, and an elastic washer compressed between the spoke cover and the spoke while locking the locking hook to the spoke.
