PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool having new type structure, which can reduce a manhour of cutting work, improve durability thereof, and improve efficiency of cutting by improving maintenanceability thereof, and a new type cutting method using the same. SOLUTION: The cutting tool is provided with a plurality of tool inserting holes 21, 21, etc., drilled on an outer peripheral surface of a tool holder portion 2 at required intervals from its tip end, fine adjustment mechanisms 4 for finely adjusting projecting heights of tools 3 built-in at the bottoms of the tool inserting holes 21, and fixing mechanisms 5 which can fix the tools 3 by moving in and out at proper positions and in proper directions on the side of the tools 3 inserted into the tool inserting holes 21.
