PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of providing the effect similar to that in case of forming a number of fine passages in the interior of a metal rigid body in simple constitution although it is very difficult to form a number of fine passages in manufacturing. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger is provided with heat exchange elements 5 constituted by parallel disposing, twining, twisting or knitting a plurality of fine pipes made of metal, resin or carbon, and forming a passage in each of fine pipes. The heat exchange element is machined by rolling, forging or press bonding.
