<p>A sliding screen door,comprising a net guide(12)for guiding the lower end of a net(4)by extending from and retracting to the lower end of a vertical frame member(6)according to the opening and closing of the net(4),the net guide(12)further comprising a large number of guide blocks(14)formed of bottom parts(14a)and swing prevention parts(14b)in a generally U−shape continuously connected to each other with a tape−like member(16),wherein the tape−like member(16)is inserted into the insert parts(14c)of the guide blocks(14)and the guide blocks(14)at both ends are fixed to the tape−like member(16),whereby a damping caused due to a proper resistance can be provided to the screen door for smooth opening and closing operations without impairing the operability of a movable doorcase by allowing the reaction of a force necessary for the bending of the net guide to be used as a working force for damping against the operating force of the movable doorcase while forming the net guide by the continuous connection of the guide blocks.</p> |
