<p>A sliding screen door, comprising a net guide (12) for guiding the lower end of a net (4) by extending from and retracting to the lower end of a vertical frame member (6) according to the opening and closing of the net (4), the net guide (12) further comprising a large number of guide blocks (14) formed of bottom parts (14a) and swing prevention parts (14b) in a generally U-shape continuously connected to each other with a tape-like member (16), wherein the tape-like member (16) is inserted into the insert parts (14c) of the guide blocks (14) and the guide blocks (14) at both ends are fixed to the tape-like member (16), whereby a damping caused due to a proper resistance can be provided to the screen door for smooth opening and closing operations without impairing the operability of a movable doorcase by allowing the reaction of a force necessary for the bending of the net guide to be used as a working force for damping against the operating force of the movable doorcase while forming the net guide by the continuous connection of the guide blocks.</p> |
