<p>Compositions and methods comprising a recombinant virus and an immunostimulant are provided for enhancing the immune response to a polypeptide expressed from the recombinant virus. Preferably this is done without also enhancing the neutralizing antibody response to the recombinant virus. Illustrative compositions comprise an adenovirus and an adjuvant such as, for example, monophosphoryl lipid A, an alkyl glucosaminide phosphate, a saponin, or a combination thereof. The disclosed compositions and methods are useful, for example, in the treatment of diseases such as cancer or infectious disease.</p> |
