PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level measuring apparatus by which a filled liquid level is measured precisely. SOLUTION: The liquid level measuring apparatus comprises a rodlike internal electrode 5, an external electrode 3 whose inside diameter in the tip is larger than the inside diameter of parts other than the tip, a processing part (not indicated in the figure) which calculates the height of the liquid level on the basis of an electrical resistance across the internal electrode 5 and the external electrode 3 and which is connected to the internal electrode 5, ventilation holes 9 formed in the external electrode 3 and an umbrella-shaped part 7 which is installed in the upper part of the ventilation holes 9 in the external electrode 3 and which has a width covering and concealing the ventilation holes.
