PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a warm air furnace that a temperature difference between the top and bottom of the room arises, when the ability of a convention fan decreases as the amount of combustion decreases at a set indoor temperature that is set during heating operation. SOLUTION: The warm air furnace includes a warm air heating part 1 having a convention fan 7 for feeding hot air; an air cleaning part 2 having an air cleaning fan 11 for admitting and feeding fresh air; and a control means 13 for controlling the operation of the warm air heating part 1 and the air cleaning part 2. The control means 13 controls the operation of the air cleaning fan 11 of the air cleaning part 2 to start when the operating ability of the convection fan 7 of the warm air heating part 1 drops below a predetermined value. During the predetermined heating operation, indoor air is agitated by the air cleaning fan 11 to eliminate the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the room.
