PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly supply a washing machine with hot water remaining in a bathtub and to achieve power savings while bathtub water is normally circulating. SOLUTION: This bath water heater has a circulating pump 11 for circulating bathtub water and a water supply circuit 19 for supplying the drum 21 of the washing machine 20 with the bathtub water. The ability of the circulating pump 11 varies depending on whether the mode of circulating the bathtub water or the mode of supplying the washing machine 20 with the water is employed. During the mode of supplying the washing machine 20 with water, the ability of the circulating pump 11 is enhanced whereby the time required for supplying the washing machine 20 with water is reduced.
