METHOD OF CONNECTING WASTE PIPE TO SEWAGE MAIN PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of connecting a waste pipe to a sewage main pipe capable of providing sufficient adhesiveness and sealing performance by surely performing the positioning of the waste pipe to the sewage main pipe. SOLUTION: This method of connecting the waste pipe to the sewage main pipe comprises steps of eliminating sediment in a steel pipe by propelling a propelling steel pipe 12 near the sewage main pipe 11, boring an installation hole 14 in the main pipe by inserting a boring machine in the steel pipe, passing the short pipe part of a joint member 16 having the short pipe part 17 inserted into the installation hole and a main pipe contact part 18 provided at the base part of the short pipe part from the inside of the main pipe to the installation hole and crimping the main pipe contact part against the inner surface of the main pipe through sealant 15, jointing the lower end of the waste pipe 25 having an engagement member 26 on the outer periphery thereof to the tip of the short pipe part projected from the installation hole to the outside of the main pipe, and filling cement milk 127 between the waste pipe and the propelling steel pipe in the upwardly raised state of the waste pipe jointed to a joint member.
