PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wrong determination of malfunction detection of a brake switch. SOLUTION: In a malfunction detection device having an abnormal rise estimation part 8b for detecting abnormal rise in hydraulic pressure of the brake, the abnormality determination part 8a determine a brake switch 7 to be malfunctioning when the hydraulic pressure of brake is a first threshold or larger. In the case where the abnormal rise estimation part 8b detects an abnormal rise, the abnormality determination part 8a determine the brake switch 7 to be malfunctioning when the hydraulic pressure of the brake is equal to a second threshold value or larger which is larger than the first threshold value.
