An adjustable joint for a pipeline has two interlocking elements comprising a hollow spherical element locating into a half spherical recess of the second element. A loose clamping flange presses the spherical element onto the recess and is clamped onto a fixed flange around the recess element. The clamping force is adjustable to set the friction grip for the join via a flexible ring between the clamping flanges. Flexible hoses are attached to the two coupling elements.
