A window shutter cassette is secured within an external recess above a window. The cassette shell (6) terminates against the wall with a gap between the shell (6) and wall lower face (4). The corner zone between the horizontal overhang (4) and vertical wall (24) is esp. filled by an elongated water deflection gusset (14).
