PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel performing transmission type display and reflection type display at the same time with a utilization factor of ambient light and illumination (back-light) improved better than that of a conventional one, and quality stabilized. SOLUTION: A plurality of gate wiring 3 and a plurality of source wiring 9a are arranged so as to be orthogonalized to each other on an insulating substrate 1, and TFTs 7 are arranged in the neighborhood of the crossing parts of the wiring. The drain electrode 9c of a TFT 7 is connected with a reflection electrode 11 and a transmission electrode 8a as pixel electrodes. Observing the substrate from above, the part where these pixel electrodes are formed consists of two areas of an area A of a high light transmission efficiency and an area B of a high light reflection efficiency. |
