<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a porous body which acquires a large surface area while keeping sufficient strength. SOLUTION: The objective method for manufacturing the porous sintered compact comprises mixing and kneading metal powders, a binder of methyl cellulose or the like, and resin grains of polypropylene or the like, which initiate disappearing at a higher temperature than a disappearing initiation temperature of the above binder and finishes disappearing at a temperature lower than a disappearing termination temperature of the above binder, to produce a mixed body, molding the above mixed body, degreasing, and sintering it.</p> |
