<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch joint with increased bending strength in a machined branch joint formed by welding a resin branch pipe to a resin main pipe. SOLUTION: This branch joint is reinforced with a fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin layer having, as an intermediate layer, a reinforcement material along the outer surface of a weld part. The reinforcement material is formed in a bent saddle shape, and the fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin layer is desirably installed within the range extended from the reinforcement material all around the main pipe and the branch pipe.</p> |
