PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof material having such appearance that is not observed conventionally and capable of reinforcing a waterproof function, a thermal insulation function, a dew condensation prevention function, and a snow stop function. SOLUTION: This roof material is constituted in such a way that recessed and projecting parts 4 composed of projecting parts 4b and recessed parts 4c are formed by protruding a downstream side of a decorative face 4 of the metallic roof material B in which a male and female connection structure is formed at a side end fringe in the direction of width partially and upward.
