PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide crystallized glass produced in satisfactory efficiency because of excellence in fusibility though As2 O3 and Sb2 O3 are practically not contained, and having good appearance, without losing flowability by firing for a short time. SOLUTION: The crystallized glass is obtained by depositing 3-30 mass% of gahnite crystals with 1.0μm or less of particle diameter and no forsterite crystals. The suitable glass composition range, by mass, is 40-60% of SiO2 , 14-25% of Al2 O3 , 1-15% of ZnO, 0.5-6% of TiO2 , 0.05-4% of ZrO2 , 2-20% of B2 O3 , 2-20% of Na2 O+K2 O+Li2 O, 0-4% of MgO, 0-4% of CaO, 0-4% of BaO, 0.05-0.5% of CeO2 , and 0.02-0.5% of SO3 .
