OLEFIN-BASED SYNTHETIC RESIN WALL PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall paper composed of a polyolefin-based resin sheet as a base and a sheet of paper laminated thereon as a liner, suppressing a curl to be developed in spreading the lining paper with paste when the wall paper is to be applied. SOLUTION: This wall paper is obtained by laminating an olefin-based synthetic resin sheet with a sheet of lining paper <=120 g/m<2> in basis weight; wherein the lining paper has a transverse underwater elongation of <=1.0%, and the olefin-based synthetic resin sheet is preferably a foamed sheet based on an ethylene-alkyl (meth)acrylate copolymer containing 20.25-40 wt.% of an alkyl (meth)acrylate component which consists preferably of methyl methacrylate.
