PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant thermoplastic elastomer composition without the use of a halogen that has good flame retardance, and excellent extrusion moldability, injection and blow moldability. SOLUTION: This flame retardant thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by melt blending a composition that contains (a) 100 pts. wt. of a polyethylene resin, (b) 100 pts.wt. of an elastomer selected from the group consisting of a block copolymer, which is composed of at least two polymer blocks A made mainly of an aromatic vinyl compound and at least one polymer block B mainly made of a conjugated diene compound, its hydrogenated material and an olefin copolymer rubber, (c) 1-150 pts.wt. of a modified silicone oil, (d) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of a coupling agent, (e) 0.01-3 pts.wt. of an organic peroxide and (f) 50-330 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler (based on 100 pts.wt. of the resin component).
