PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make simple the coupling structure between a bottom plate and side plates of a knock-down container. SOLUTION: The knock-down container 1 comprises a bottom plate 10 provided with a coupling frame member 18 having an inserting groove 18c, an inner edge support surface 18d, and an outer edge support surface 18e, and with a coupling side plate 26 having, at its lower frame member 32, an inserting part 32b, an inner edge surface to be supported 32d, and an outer edge surface to be supported 32e. When the bottom plate 10 and the coupling side plate 26 are coupled, the whole of the inserting part 32b is fit into the inserting groove 18c, while the inner edge surface to be supported 32d and the outer edge surface to be supported 32e are respectively joined with the inner edge support surface 18d and the outer edge support surface 18e for support, thereby keeping the coupling side plate 26 removably connected to the bottom plate 10 for it to independently stand thereon, and making simple the coupling structure between the bottom plate 10 and the coupling side plate 26.
