PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a roof molding which is good at a mounting workability and good at a mounting stability. SOLUTION: In the roof molding 4 mounting thereof in a roof groove 3 installed in the connection part of right and left side edge of a main roof panel of the automobile and an inner end edge of a roof side panel 2 by inserting from the upper side, a first lip 44 whose end extends from a side face of the lower end and comes in contact with a side face 31 of the roof groove 42 protruding downward, and which is softer and higher in the bending deformability than that of the footing 42, and a second lip 45 whose end extends from the other side face of the lower end diagonally upward over the second lip 45 and comes in contact with the other side face of the roof groove 3 and which is softer and lower in the bending deformability than that of the footing 42 are formed at a lower end of a footing 42 of a vertical wall type forming in the middle of the crosswise direction of a roof molding main body 40 and protruding downwards.
